======================================================================

INSTALL
  1. Close AutoCAD.
  2. Unzip this folder somewhere (Desktop is fine).
  3. Double-click INSTALL.bat.
  4. Open AutoCAD. You get an "InConstruct Tools" ribbon tab, and every
     command can also be typed.

If AutoCAD asks whether to load IC Tools, choose "Always Load".

  RIBBON NOT SHOWING?
  - Right-click on the ribbon tab names, choose Show Tabs and tick
InConstruct Tools (a tab can be hidden there).
  - Or type ICRIBBON - it reloads the IC Tools ribbon.
  - IC Tools loads its own ribbon when AutoCAD starts and swaps in the
new one after an update, so you don't need CUILOAD.
  - ICCHECK shows what is installed and what, if anything, is wrong.
If the ribbon tab doesn't show, type CUILOAD and check ICTOOLS is in
the list - the typed commands work either way.

Needs full AutoCAD 2019 or newer (or Civil 3D / Map etc.).
  AutoCAD LT is not supported.

UNINSTALL
  1. In AutoCAD type ICUNINSTALL - the ribbon tab goes straight away.
  2. Close AutoCAD and double-click UNINSTALL.bat.
  3. Start AutoCAD once - a one-time clean-up checks the ribbon is
     gone and then removes itself.
If the tab ever survives, type CUIUNLOAD, pick ICTOOLS, Unload.

HOW THE TOOLS WORK
Each command opens its own window: a header, the settings in
sections with a short note beside each one, a status / results
box on the right, and (for the tools that keep one) the register
underneath it. The main buttons are the orange ones.

Every window opens with "What it does" and "How to use" in the box
on the right. Press Guide me... for a step-by-step guide: Back / Next
through the steps, and the orange button on each step does that step
for you, then the guide comes back at the next one. The guide offers
itself the first time you open each tool.

Pick buttons hide the window while you click in the drawing, then
bring it back. Double-click a register line to zoom to it (or, in
Cube Up, to load it back for editing). Settings are remembered.

The old command-line versions are still there - put a dash in front,
e.g. -ICPTIMPORT. Handy in scripts or if a window ever misbehaves.

Registers (exported points, circle centres, pipe runs, concrete
pours) are stored inside the drawing, so they are still there when
you reopen it. CSV files are written next to the drawing.

Coordinates and levels in labels and CSV files are always in metres,
whether the drawing is in metres or millimetres. The tools read the
drawing units from INSUNITS and ask once if it isn't set.
ICTRANSFORM works in drawing units throughout.

TEXT IN THE DRAWING
Every label IC Tools draws uses one text style, IC-Text (Arial), so
it reads the same in every drawing. Change the font for all of them
at once with the STYLE command.

FONTS
The window titles, headings and buttons are drawn from Playfair
Display and Libre Baskerville (SIL Open Font License) - see
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Nothing is installed on your computer.

CHECK BEFORE YOU RELY ON IT
Steel tolerances (ICASBUILT), self-cleansing gradients (ICGRADE) and
mesh weights (ICMESH) are editable defaults. Confirm them against your
  project specification and supplier data.

YOUR LICENCE
IC Tools needs a licence. After installing, start AutoCAD and type
ICLICENCE (or press Licence on the ribbon). It shows a machine code -
send that to InConstruct Engineering Ltd and you get a small .lic file
back by email. Save the file, press "Load licence file..." and pick it.
You can also copy the licence text and press "Paste from clipboard".

A licence works on the computer it was made for and nowhere else. When
it runs out the tools stop until a new licence is loaded. Keep the .lic
file - you will need it again if you reinstall Windows.

LICENCE
IC Tools belongs to InConstruct Engineering Ltd and is licensed, not
sold - see LICENSE.txt. Copying, sharing, modifying or reverse-
engineering it without written permission is not allowed.
